Mass Effect Trilogy coming in November

BioWare has just announced that it will be releasing a trilogy for Mass Effect on PS3, PC, and XBOX360. This will be the first time that Mass Effect is playable on PS3, however… It seems as though PS3 customers will have to wait. The PC and 360 versions are scheduled to release on November 6, 2012, yet the PS3 version is scheduled to come at a later date which has yet to be determined. It has also been announced that there will be a PSN download only release for Mass Effect as a standalone title for those who have played Mass Effect 2 and 3, but would just like to experience the first installment on PS3.

The trilogy will come out a day before Bioware’s “N7 Day” which is a worldwide celebration for the Mass Effect franchise. On this day, there will be online events, in-game events, and even live events as well to celebrate the occasion. BioWare has yet to give details as to exactly what will take place on November 7th, but it’s bound to be exciting for Mass Effect enthusiasts, so be sure to stay tuned!
