Elite Dangerous reaches Kickstarter goal

David Braben’s latest project, Elite Dangerous, has managed to raise £1,262,850 of its £1,250,000 Kickstarter goal. After launching a crowd-funding campaign in early November last year, the project has managed to draw the support of over 21,000 space-adventure loving fans.

Elite Dangerous is the next game in one of the most critically acclaimed and pioneering franchises of all time. Braben promises fans a space adventure experience like no other, that includes open-ended space exploration, bounty hunting, trading and much more.

If you feel the developers deserve even more funding to make this promising title, then head on over to the official Kickstarter page to make a donation.

Elite Dangerous is set for release some time in 2014.
