PC version of Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed to get exclusive racers

SEGA of America Inc. and SEGA Europe have announced some special “valve-y” characters for the PC version of Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. If you couldn’t tell from my terrible play on words, Valve has offered some Team Fortress 2 characters to SEGA for some GOOD OL’ RACIN’: the Pyro, the Heavy, and the Spy. Valve isn’t the only company offering trademarked people to race with SEGA’s mascot (I thought Sonic was super fast; WHY IS HE DRIVING A CAR?!). Creative Assembly is allowing their Shogun from the Total War series to make an appearance, and Sports Interactive is letting the almighty Manager Man from Football Manager join the fray (hopefully he can recruit everyone after the race to play soccer in a spinoff).

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed will be available as a PC digital download on January 31st for $30. All racing info can be found at the game’s Facebook page here.
