Assassin’s Creed III DLC add-on The Tyranny of King Washington to release in February

One of the most interesting announcements regarding Assassin’s Creed III DLC is almost upon us! The Tyranny of King Washington: The Infamy, the first entry of a three-part twist on historical events, is set to release on February 19th for 360, PS3, and PC; mere days after the day of love (hopefully your love of mayhem in the name of justice will not have been used up completely on Valentine’s Day). In The Infamy, our main man Ratonhnhak√©:ton (aka Connor for those of us who will never be able to pronounce that) wakes up from a nightmare, only to find out that his bad dreams have been made material by the first President of the United States, General Washington. Despite Connor’s efforts to help build a peaceful nation free from monarchy, ol’ Georgie boy has let power go to his head and proclaimed himself King Washington, RULER OF THE UNITED STATES (I bet the whole plot twist will be Templar mind control through royal jewelry). It is up to Connor to assassinate the first leader of the free world in order to put a stop to his obsessive rule and make America truly the land of the free.

The three upcoming parts of The Tyranny of King Washington saga will be available as part of the Assassin’s Creed III Season Pass, which is 2400 Microsoft Points for the 360 and $30 for the PC and PS3. Alternatively, the first episode of the tale can be procured as an individual DLC Pack for 800 Microsoft Points or $10 for the platforms that don’t use Monopoly money (you can also purchase the pack at Gamestop or Best Buy if you aren’t a total shut-in). All upcoming Assassin’s Creed III DLC will also hit the WiiU at a later date. More information on Assassin’s Creed III can be found here.
