Ubisoft announces huge Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist Collector’s Edition

Today, Ubisoft announced a Collector’s Edition for its upcoming title Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist, AND IT IS A MASSIVE BEAST. Dubbed Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist Paladin Multi-Mission Aircraft Edition (try saying that three times fast, or even once), this bad boy contains:

Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist – THE VIDEOGAME.

Remote Control C-147B Paladin Aircraft – a custom 3-channel, dual-engined aircraft BEHEMOTH modeled after the one in-game; it also serves as the Paladin mobile headquarters.

Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Echoes comic book – an 88-page graphic novel from illustrator Marc Laming and Eisner-nominated writer Nathan Edmondson (if only the instruction booklet was this detailed!).

Limited edition Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist poster – perfect for putting over your bedpost so you can dream about a romantic evening with the studly Sam Fisher.

Exclusive Billionaire’s Yacht co-op map – you and a buddy can cause mayhem on a rich person’s private boat, which is basically EXACTLY how Taken ended.

Bonus Upper Echelon Pack with Dead Coast co-op map, Gold Sonar Goggles and Upper Echelon Suit – another map for you and your partner which may or may not have to do with zombies (the title makes me wonder), bling goggles for Sam (hypocrite; I thought he was sticking it to the rich on the yacht LITERALLY SECONDS AGO), and a sneak suit in black that I am afraid won’t match the gold goggles AT ALL (Sam is going to be a super fly sitting duck).

The Collector’s Edition for Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist is now available for pre-order at certain retailers, and will launch in both of the Americas on August 20th for the PS3 and 360 (this edition will set you back $170, so start saving up if you want a giant plane with which to knock your sibling/loved one in the head). More information on the game can be found here and here.
