Tactical Intervention a new FPS from Counter-Strike Co-Creator enters beta

New details regarding the closed and open beta phases for the North American launch of Tactical Intervention have been revealed today. In case you haven’t heard, the game is the brainchild of Counter-Strike co-creator Minh Le and free to play publisher OGPlanet.

The game will run a closed beta March 4-8 through Joystiq.com and an open beta starting on March 14th with the game being launched fully on March 28th. The game looks like a mixture of Counter-Strike and Call of Duty from what we’ve seen so far, which could be a good thing potentially. One interesting addition to the standard FPS formula is the inclusion of vehicles which should add some variety beyond other free-to-play Counter-Strike clones.
