Saints Row IV now golden, Season Pass plans revealed in detail

Publisher Deep Silver has made some announcements today regarding their upcoming open-world, outrageous adventure, Saints Row IV. The title has now gone gold, which not only means it is almost ready to be distributed to us, the rabid consumers, but also that gamers can now pre-order the Season Pass, which will include all planned DLC for the game.

Priced at EUR 9,99 / £ 7.99, which is around $12, the Season Pass for Saints Row IV will include the following: two brand-new mission packs, the exclusive to the Season Pass “Rectifier” anal probe weapon (which will help you get information from your enemies in the most uncomfortable way possible to help stop the incoming alien invasion), the director’s cut of the “Enter the Dominatrix” DLC (a satirical look at what the cut content originally planned for Saints Row: The Third was going to be like; which I already assumed was tongue-in-cheek, so my head just exploded), and another mission pack due out late this year.

Saints Row IV is due out on August 20th in North America and August 23rd in the rest of the world, for the PS3, 360, and PC. The Season Pass will be available to purchase on all platforms, and will include over EUR 15 / £ 12 worth of content (that’s almost $20, which is a good deal that I am ALL OVER).
