Elder Scrolls Online getting the star treatment in voice acting

The Elder Scrolls Online

Bethesda has been pretty good about getting a star or two to voice characters for their recent slew of Elder Scrolls and Fallout games. So why should Elder Scrolls Online be any different?

But this time, Bethesda decided to enlist even more talent for ESO. Joining the likes of Sir Patrick Stewart and Sean Bean (both who voiced characters from TES:IV), Bethesda has enlisted several notable names, like John Cleese (“Monty Python and the Holy Grail), Bill Nighy (“Pirates of the Caribbean“), Kate Beckinsale (“Underworld“), Alfred Molina (“Spider-Man 2“), Michael Gambon (“Harry Potter“), and Malcolm McDowell (“A Clockwork Orange“). Also, Lynda Carter (“Wonder Woman”) returns to reprise her role from Skyrim, although she has been featured in other Bethesda games as well.

“This extraordinary group of actors helps bring the distinctive characters in The Elder Scrolls Online to life,” said Matt Firor, game director of ESO. “In The Elder Scrolls tradition, we sought world class talent to add a deep and enriching component to the immersive world the series offers players.”

You can head over to the Bethesda Blog to get more info on what characters these actors will be playing. Bethesda has also posted a YouTube trailer with the full voice cast reveal, which you can check out below.

Now if they could just Billy West in there somehow, that would be awesome.

The Elder Scrolls Online will be released April 4, 2014 for PC and Mac, and June 2014 for PS4 and Xbox One.
