Hidetaka Miyazaki returns with Bloodborne

From Software has formally announced the development of its latest title, Bloodborne.

The project is headed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, the creator of the critically-acclaimed games Demon’s Souls and Dark Souls. Although Bloodborne is not formally a game in the Souls franchise, it will undoubtedly draw some influence, considering the game’s development is spearheaded by Miyazaki. If the recently leaked clips of “Project Beast” are in fact taken from Bloodborne, as many have been suggesting, then it’s safe to assume that the game will bring similar game mechanics to this eery Victorian steampunk setting.

Bloodborne is set for release sometime in 2015.
