Nintendo announces Majora’s Mask 3D for Spring 2015 release

During Wednesday’s Nintendo Direct presentation, Nintendo led off with the announcement that another Zelda remake was coming to the 3DS. Since Ocarina of Time 3D was such a success, it would only make sense to give fans another dose of history with The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D.

The adventure game, which features Link venturing to save the world of Termina from a giant evil moon during three-day increments, is due out in the spring of 2015.

From this trailer, we can see that Nintendo has brought enhanced visuals to what is perhaps Link’s creepiest quest ever. And there is no hiding the creepy factor about Majora’s Mask. If the moon and the mask salesman don’t get you, the crazy transformation animations will.

That said, the original game was one of the finest that the Nintendo 64 had to offer, so if you haven’t experienced it yet, you might want to strap on your Zelda hoodie and give this one a go.
