Mark your calendars for the Rainbow Six: Siege championship

Every so often, people set aside their conflicts and come together around a single event, events like the Olympics or the Superbowl. Now, the world readies itself for the next such event: Siege Day.

Fans who are waiting for Ubisoft’s new Rainbow Six: Siege, the latest in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six series, will want to clear their schedules for November 23. After a nation-wide tour, The Siege Games, a competition to seek out the best Rainbow Six: Siege players at gaming events across the country, will culminate with this championship event. Six teams will come together to find out who is truly the best.

Competitors will be doing more than just twiddling their thumbs at this event, too. The Siege Games has already raised over $80,000 for Extra Life, a Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals fundraising program that raises money for sick and injured children through gaming.

Don’t worry if you won’t be in LA to catch the event. All the action will be live-streamed on with some sure-to-be-juicy gameplay reveals and specials beginning at 2 pm PST.

Rainbow Six: Siege comes out December 1st for PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4.
