Narrative-driven classic Fahrenheit arrives on PS4 Aug 9th

Fans of David Cage and development studio Quantic Dreams were treated to a nice surprise this morning when news of a remastered version of the PlayStation Classic Fahrenheit will be released on the PS4 as a PS2 Classic title on August 9.  Originally released in 2005, Fahrenheit, also known as Indigo Prophecy in the U.S., was groundbreaking at the time and was a gaming experience that was totally unique.

Many consider the opening of the game to be the strongest in videogame history.  Circumstances have you trying to cover up a murder in the restroom of a diner while a cop chats it up with a waitress just mere feet away at the lunch counter.  This was very impressive gameplay at the time and very likely paved the way for the hit game Heavy Rain and undoubtedly influenced other game studios such as Telltale Games and the types of games that they develop.

This remastered classic will boast upscaled 1080p visuals and will offer a full Trophy set, including the highly sought after Platinum. In addition, the game will offer full controller support and is based on the uncut/uncensored international version of the game.  If you have never played this one, as a videogame aficionado, you must experience this one to truly be able to call yourself as much.  This was history in the making and should be included in every game collection.
