Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series launches new humorous and action-packed trailer

From Earth to the Milano and everywhere in between, Marvel and Telltale have teamed up to bring back our favorite ragtag heroes in a whole new adventure featuring a death-obsessed Thanos, a perpetually angry raccoon, and an epic retro-grade soundtrack. The first episode of Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series, named after a familiar Bob Dylan song from the 70’s, “Tangled Up in Blue,” launches tomorrow, April 18. Check out the trailer for episode one now!

The new trailer provides players with a better insight of what to expect. The trailer mostly sets the intergalactic tone for our heroes, rather than explicitly laying out the adventures that will soon be discovered. As of right now, Telltale has not released dates for future episodes. However, based on the synopsis of the entire game, it seems Thanos will not be the only perilous villain players will face in the series. Check out Telltale’s synopsis below:

“In the wake of an epic battle, the Guardians discover an artifact of unspeakable power. Each of them has a reason to desire this relic, as does a ruthless enemy who is the last of her kind, and who will stop at nothing to tear it from their hands.”

“Tangled Up in Blue” is priced at $4.99 and becomes available tomorrow on Android, iOS, Mac, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. A season pass disc will also be for $29.99 at retailers for PS4 and Xbox One. The retail package will include the first episode on disc and will grant access to digital versions of the other 4 episodes as they become available.
