Activision corrects concurrent Modern Warfare 3 player tally
Activision has issued a quick correction on a Modern Warfare 3 figure they announced when all the record-breaking was being done last week.
You see, the previous news they put out had a wee bit of an error; the publisher claimed to have set a new bar by attracting 3.3 million concurrent Xbox Live users. The actual number is a tad smaller: 1.4 million.
We’re still impressed.
The 3.3 million figure still applies to the launch day total player count.
