Bad Company 3, Mirror’s Edge 2 surface on CVs

This is bound to make a number of people mighty joyous; Battlefield: Bad Company 3 and Mirror’s Edge 2 have surfaced on LinkedIn profiles (via), and I couldn’t be happier either.

Looking at the profile of an ex-EA Software Engineer, we find out that he contributed to Mirror’s Edge 2‘s development between July and August 2009 by implementing “the wandering of crowd system within Unreal3 engine.” Another profile shows that we can look forward to “new gadgets and interactive features” along with “leaderboards” and a “mini-game embedded into mirror’s edge game story”.

As for Bad Company 3, there isn’t as much to go on. The profile of one Michael Joseph C. merely states that the game was among others he provided “prototype, design and demo feedback on” between 2009 and 2011. The other games were Dead Space 2, Devil May Cry 5 and “other unannounced titles.”

EA and DICE have been dancing around the existence of both games for a while now; while not confirming anything, they’ve said they also aren’t done with the franchises. Here’s hoping they’re in full development then and *gulp* near their respective announcements?
