Battlefield 3’s two-disc Xbox 360 version explained
There was a rumor going around that DICE’s upcoming behemoth of a shooter Battlefield 3 was to be split into two discs for Xbox 360. According to fresh reports, that has been confirmed by publisher EA.
“Battlefield 3 for Xbox 360 ships on two discs with endless hours of spectacular high-definition gameplay,” explained EA. “Disc one features the stunning multiplayer, co-op levels and HD installation content. Disc two features the superb single-player campaign,” which was pretty much what we predicted when the news first hit the net.
Battlefield 3 launches on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on October 25th (US) and 28th (EU). As for the open beta expected to start this month, we’re still without a date, although we’d bet Tokyo Game Show might change that later this week.
