Battlefield: Bad Company 2 gives love to DirectX 11

DICE has confirmed that their upcoming shooter sequel Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will support DirectX 11. The developers have been working with ATI to produce experimental code and are now confident that they can offer full DirectX 11 compatibility when the game is released next March.

Bad Company 2 is the latest game to support DirectX 11, following the likes of Shattered Horizons and BattleForge. Even more titles with full support are due soon, including DiRT 2 next month and Aliens Vs. Predator early 2010. Seems like PC owners need little excuse to stick a copy of Windows 7 and a shiny new graphics card on their list for Santa.
