BFBC2’s Vietnam expansion gets details, trailer, screens

EA’s made good on its promise to chat up Battlefield: Bad Company 2‘s upcoming Vietnam expansion at TGS; revealed today are a number of tidbits from the multiplayer life extender, the new trailer above and new screenshots among them.

The downloadable pack will deliver four distinct Vietnam-themed multiplayer maps — playable in all gamemodes — each with their own gameplay elements, be it foxholes, tunnels or dense jungles.

“Enhanced persistence” along with 15 Vietnam-era weapons and 6 vehicles — the mighty Huey among them — new voiceovers for both American  and Vietnamese troops, and of course new Achievements and Trophies can be expected as well.

The add-on comes with 8 in-game radio stations that carry a total of 49 tracks; “Ride of the Valkyries” and Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Fortunate Son” are the two pointed out.

The release window is still ‘winter 2010’ for now. No pricing just yet either.
