BioShock Infinite, Uncharted 3 take lead among Game Critic Award nominees

BioShock Infinite and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception have emerged as the games to beat in the Game Critics Awards’ annual Best of E3 picks.

Batman: Arkham City, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet, Dark Souls and From Dust also joined the ranks of notable nominees, but it was Irrational Games’ Infinite and Naughty Dog’s Drake’s Deception that lead the pack. Both games earned a competition crushing four nominations each. BioShock Infinite was nominated for best of show, best original game, best PC game and best action-adventure game while Uncharted 3 was nominated for best of show, best console game, best action-adventure game and best online mulitplayer game.

The winners in each of the competition’s 17 separate videogame-tastic categories, as chosen by North American game critics, will be announced on June 28. Still pleeeeenty of time to double-down all that cock fighting money on some real action.
