Capcom purchases Blue Castle Games
Mega-publisher Capcom has reached into its wallet and purchased Dead Rising 2 developer Blue Castle Games.
The Canadian development house also worked on stylized arcade baseball games The Bigs and The Bigs 2, as well as the ultra-popularDead Rising 2: Case Zero.
The news comes from the Tokyo Game Show, where Rob Barret, president/CEO of Blue Castle Games, said, “We take this responsibility very seriously. Capcom games have a certain flavor … we don’t just want to make amazing games, we want to make amazing Capcom games.”
Capcom did not disclose how much it spent to purchase the development house. Any guesses?
