Crysis 2, Dragon Age II, Dead Space 2 sell 2 million each
EA’s released quite a few sequels this year, and they’ve all done quite well for themselves.
The publisher reveals today that Crytek’s Crysis 2, BioWare’s Dragon Age II and Visceral’s Dead Space 2 have each passed the 2 million copies sold in mark. For Dead Space, that means the sequel has done around 40% better than its predecessor in the same time frame, it’s specifically pointed out. Not too shabby?
The sales of Criterion’s Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit are also revealed: 5+ million. The more recently released Shift 2 Unleashed offshoot goes unmentioned though.
