Confirming what we already expected, a NeoGAF user believed to be Louis Gascoigne, a programmer at Visceral Games, has said that “nobody bought” Dead Space: Extraction, likely meaning the game has not met sales expectations. In addition, he reiterated that the game was a test of the Wii audience, and that Extraction‘s sales will affect the company’s future projects on the Wii.
But, although we remained hopeful until the end, we thought as much. It’s a shame really, for the game is high quality and made for an enjoyable outing for me and my friends who are Dead Space fans.
