It’s no secret Battlefield 3 will be out later this year, or in “Fall 2011” as everyone so nicely and professionally puts it. However, a set-in-stone date is yet to be announced by DICE and EA, something someone might have accidentally – or not – done. According to the EA Download Manager, November 2nd would be a hot winter night to remember. Follow the link for proof.
Checking the US EA Store however, said date is nowhere to be found. Again, only “Fall 2011” is plastered all over the place. However, if this rumor turns out to be true, that would put some pressure on the yet-to-be announced annual Call of Duty title, a whole week and a half worth of pressure if history is anything to go by.
Should you still be in doubt whether Battlefield 3 will be worth the purchase or not, check out the Fault Line episodes 1, 2 and 3; they might do the trick.
