Epic shows off Unreal Engine 4

Epic Games is wandering into the next generation of gaming with Unreal Engine 4. This we already knew, but we had yet to see the developer’s visions in motion. That changed today when the tech was showcased publicly in video form for the first time.

Below are two videos, the first one showing the Elemental tech-demo in which everything is running in real-time, while the second one is basically developer’s porn, a quite detailed walkthrough of the different aspects of the engine and how it works.
