A full three minutes of Forza 4 in-game footage found its way online over the weekend, and it shows off some of the racing sims’ nifty features and graphics.

Look beyond the chest beating and buzz wording and you’ll hear about: New graphical techniques such as image-based lighting; Kinect head tracking lets you look into rear view mirrors while racing, along with opening doors and firing up engines; Forza’s car list spans more than 80 manufacturers, supporting a recent survey from Microsoft; Multiplayer will feature up to 16 players, twice as much as Forza 3.

Microsoft, likely dismayed by the video’s leakage, issued the following statement: “The video in question was not intended for public distribution and may not accurately reflect features and functionality that ship in Forza Motorsport 4. We will have more to share on Forza Motorsport 4 in the near future.”
