GoldenEye 007: Reloaded official, out this fall; first trailer, screens

Activision has formally announced GoldenEye 007 Reloaded for the PS3 and 360 just now.

Among the promises are new gameplay modes, multiplayer options as well as full PS Move compatibility.

“Built on a brand new engine that delivers striking visuals, blistering fast gameplay and the ability to play using the PlayStation Move with Sharp Shooter peripheral, GoldenEye 007: Reloaded is the complete James Bond experience shooter-fans have been waiting for.”

That’s confidence.

No dates yet, but the game will be out this fall.

The remake will introduce new “Mi6 Ops Missions” which allow players to complete a variety of Assault, Elimination, Stealth and Defense objectives. This is separate from the solo campaign.

As for multiplayer; four-player split-screen action will be improved upon, and 16-player online play will come complete with new weaponry, characters and modes. All the good stuff, then. And it’ll all run at 60 frames per second.

Finally, like mentioned earlier, fans of the PS Sharp Shooter are catered to as well: “Promising to be one of the most immersive and interactive Bond games to date, this is an outstanding opportunity for PlayStation fans to experience one of the most iconic and action-packed shooters in an all new way with PlayStation Move and the Sharp Shooter peripheral,” said Rob Dyer, Senior Vice President, Sony Computer Entertainment of America.  “By bringing together GoldenEye 007: Reloaded, and PlayStation Move’s Sharp Shooter, we are continuing to expand the new world of motion-based entertainment appealing for hardcore fans and only possible on PlayStation.”
