GRID back online for PC users
The multiplayer portion of Race Driver GRID‘s PC version has been rescued; after Codemasters announced the closure of the online side of the PC and PS3 versions of the 2008 racer just two days ago, PC users can now hop back online thanks to knight-in-white-armor GameRanger, which has ‘rescued the orphaned multiplayer.’
GameRanger, an online gaming service, boasts 1.7 million members and offers over 600 titles total, other “orphaned” games such as Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2008, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, and The Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle-earth series among them.
The service is available via an application that can be downloaded via their official site here.
