Journey on for Spring 2012

Sony has confirmed that Journey, the upcoming PSN-exclusive from thatgamecompany (a studio after our own hearts), will be launching in the Spring of next year.

Studio co-founder Jenova Chen announced the news on the PlayStation Blog just now. He revealed that the game’s recent online beta went very well, so the team were confident in getting it out in this time frame.

That’s a bit of a bummer for those of us that had our eyes on a Christmas release for this one but we’re happy to wait for what looks to be an exceptional game.
