Kaz Hirai now in charge of more than just PlayStation
It wasn’t too long ago that Sony’s Kazuo Hirai was put in charge of all things PlayStation. He’s obviously done a pretty good job, as he was promoted again recently.
Hirai is now in charge of Sony’s entire consumer products line, overseeing TVs and cameras on top of PS3s and NGPs and all the other tech the company is putting out. Furthermore, he’s now being sized up for the big time; taking over Howard Stringer, who is expected to step down in 2013, as the CEO.
