Max Payne 3 DLC plans announced; first add-on content in June
Rockstar’s just announced its plans for Max Payne 3 DLC.
All PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions are in for new multiplayer maps, modes, bursts, items, playable characters, challenges “and more” over the months following the game’s release, with the first pack of content arriving in June.
The pack will be called “Local Justice” and is a map pack, complete with a Police Precinct map for Gang Wars, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Payne Killer modes. Two new maps for Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Payne Killer, plus avatar items, multiplayer challenges etc. will also be included.
“The story of Max Payne 3 begins in the single-player game and crosses over into the deepest multiplayer experience we’ve ever created,” said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games. “We intend to support the Max Payne community with new and innovative content well into the future.”
Furthermore, a DLC Pass can be pre-ordered starting today. What will it give you? Why, access to all future DLC, of course. The Pass goes for 2400 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE and $29.99 on PlayStation Network and PC; more than a 35% discount, Rockstar points out.
Fancy that.
