Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy VII to grace the Xperia Play?
Sony celebrated a (partially delayed) launch of their new phone, the Xperia Play, last night in style by throwing a huge event in London. While we were fiddling around with the new kit one of the Sony staff on hand dropped an enticing rumor. He told us that there was “talk” of PlayStation favorites Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy VII heading to the phone this Summer.
These two PS One classics would be available through the PlayStation Suite, which is set to launch later in the year. Even if you’ve picked them up on PSN though you’ll have to lay down some cash for either game. It would definitely be a big boost to get both games on the phone, and we could always do with another Snake in our pocket.
