Metro 2033 hits 1.5 million sales

Despite a pretty poor marketing attempt from THQ, sales of Metro 2033 have passed the 1.5 million mark. The game was released last March and collected a bundle of positive reviews, unfortunately this didn’t translate to the kind of sales figures they might have hoped for. Luckily the game has picked up steam and is now getting some well deserved success. With a tasty looking sequel on the way and THQ vowing to give it the ‘appropriate marketing’ it deserves, the future certainly seems bright.
