Microsoft’s own Kinect listing price not official

A quick update on Kinect’s pricing. That $149.99 price tag spotted on Microsoft’s own online store? Nope, still not to be considered official.

Says Stephen Toulouse, Xbox Live’s Director of Policy and Enforcement: “All prices now *no matter what the retail source* are placeholders. We’ve not announced [the price]”; words that are further backed up by a Microsoft representative who’s essentially echoed the same earlier today: “We haven’t yet announced pricing details for ‘Kinect for Xbox 360. Stay tuned.”

Gamescom it is then.
