More Dragon Age II DLC to come

Dragon Age II‘s first substantial piece of story-based downloadable content, Legacy, won’t be the last; words to hold senior producer Fernando Melo accountable for.

While presenting the DLC at EA’s Summer Showcase last week, Melo said the new weapon in Legacy can be taken “outside of the DLC back into the main game” — and here’s the good bit — “or into future content as well.”

BioWare’s made clear it’s been listening to fan feedback and has moved away from the repetitive locales of the main adventure, taking players to an ancient Grey Warden prison along with other new locations. Here’s hoping they’ll be keeping it up.

Bur first things first: Legacy is out for PC, Mac, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 later in the month, on July 26, for $9.99 and 800 Microsoft/BioWare Points.
