Microsoft have been tight-lipped about Xbox exclusives for 2011 and beyond, but with whispers and rumors of new Gears of War and Halo titles, we’re hoping that will change at their pre-GDC event in San Fransico later this week. According to Xbox spokesperson and man of the people, Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb, gamers will indeed be “really happy” about what’s to be announced.
Speaking on his own podcast, he revealed: “Next week I’m going to be down in San Francisco. We are having an invite-only press event that we’re going to have some cool news that I’m not quite fully briefed on, but we have a lot of news that we’re going to be announcing. Just telling you guys, you’re going to be really happy when you hear all the news, that’s all I can say.”
Speculation time; will we see that Halo remake? Gears of War Kinect? Kinectimals 2!? We’ll know by the end of the week.
