New Marvel vs. Capcom 3 characters revealed

This morning, Capcom unveiled a new trailer for the third installment in the crossover fighting game franchise, Marvel vs. Capcom 3. In the trailer, shown above, four new characters were announced, two from the Marvel universe and two from Capcom’s side.

On the Marvel side, Fantastic Four’s Doctor Doom and Super Skrull can be seen shooting lasers out of their finger tips, taking Johnny Storm’s thunder (or fire? Bad joke – I apologize), and other acts you’d expect a genius megalomaniac and vengeful alien to commit.

As for the Capcom side, Street Fighter’s Chun-Li and Devil May Cry’s Trish are shown kicking, slicing, flying, and anything that comes with the territory of being the world’s best Interpol agent and Dante’s mother.

Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds is currently slated for a Spring 2011 release.
