According to the game’s senior producer Denby Grace, Mafia II‘s open-world city environment is so good from a technical standpoint that it’s well out of every other open-world game’s reach. “No other open world city comes close with the texture quality, attention to detail and destructibility of our environments,” Grace told IncGamers in a recent interview, also sprinkling on top some praise for the developing studio, “… the story, the level of detail and realization of the world really is an amazing technical achievement for the team here at 2K Czech.”
Last we heard, the game was set to arrive before June this year.
