Codemasters has confirmed with IGN that their upcoming tactical shooter Operation Flashpoint: Red River will be delayed by nearly two months in North America. The game has now been pushed back to June 6, 2011 from its original date of April 26.
Strangely, this only affects the North American release and not the European release, which is still scheduled for April 24. This is a good sign that the change in release date is deliberate, rather than a reflection of the final product’s finished state. That, or some intern really screwed things up. Darn interns.
