PlayStation Vita specs revealed
The technical specs of Sony’s PlayStation Vita handheld device have been revealed and it looks to be a beefy little monster. Sporting a a quad core processor, a five inch OLED front touch screen and rear touch pad, 512MB – despite rumors of that number being cut in half – of RAM, front and rear facing cameras, and six-axis motion sensing, it’s going to be like carrying around a full fledged console system.
My only problem lies with the cameras. In this world of 12 megapixel cameras sold to pre-schoolers, why go with VGA as the highest resolution? While most will be playing games and not shooting pictures, with the intended social apps, being able to share pictures through the Vita would be a good selling point to the middle of the road gamer. Maybe I’m just being picky.
