Rainbow Six, Bad Company 2, more heading to Xperia Play

Sony are making good on their promise to bring bigger and better games to the Xperia Play with a slew of new titles announced today, most of which will be on show at E3.

Leading the charge is the newly-announced Rainbow Six: Shadow Vanguard, which is exclusive to the Play. Developed by the ever-popular Gameloft, Shadow Vanguard will be going completely free throughout June and July, launching tomorrow (Friday).

Other big names include Battlefield: Bad Company 2, which again is exclusive to the phone. The d-pad controls may well fair better than the touch screen ones that meant the original title iOS version wasn’t received too well. Minecraft is on the way too, as we already knew.
