Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City confirmed, Revelations demo headed to 3DS

Time for that zombie fix; Capcom have confirmed that Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is in development for PS3, 360 and PC. The Slant Six developed project comes with all the info revealed in the past week, such as squad-based third-person gameplay and four-player co-op taking center stage.

Raccoon City takes us back to the events of both Resident Evil 2 and 3, retelling some key moments in franchise history. The player takes control of an Umbrella Security Services soldier in an attempt to quell a zombie-outbreak. Along with the undead there will be other agents and bio-organic weapons to shoot at. Competitive multiplayer is in, too.

Moving over to the handheld side of things, Resident Evil: Mercenaries for 3DS has been confirmed to include a demo of Resident Evil Revelations. Revelations is perhaps the most traditional RE project in development right now, with more details to come at this year’s E3.
