RIFT: Storm Legion closed beta begins this Friday

Trion Worlds have announced a closed beta event for the upcoming expansion of their critically acclaimed fantasy MMORPG RIFT.

The event, kicking off on Friday October 5th and ending on Sunday October 7th, will let you try out some of the new maps featured in the game’s upcoming expansion, Storm Legion. You’ll also be able to import your current character, if you’re a subscriber that is, and customize him/her using the four new souls included in the upcoming expansion.

To participate in the closed beta , you’ll have to pre-order Storm Legion. Trion Worlds have also said that pre-ordering will grant you access to all of the remaining beta events that will be taking place until its release on November 13th. Hopefully though, that won’t be absolutely necessary. We’ll have our fingers crossed!
