Sims 4 Characters can become Sims vampires, complete with fangs and gothic decor.
Players will need to work hard to develop their Sims vampire skills. Being a Sims vampire comes with its perks, such as immortality and supernatural vampire powers, but they will also have some unique obstacles along the way.
Players can use cheats to unlock all of the vampire secrets at any point during their journey. In this guide, we will cover Sims vampire all of the available cheats for the Sims 4 vampire game pack. We tested the cheat codes ourselves, so you know they’ll work!
Sims 4 Vampires Pack: New Items in CAS and Build Mode
When you download the Sims 4 Vampire Pack, you will notice new clothing, accessories, hairstyles, and makeup inCreate a Sim (CAS):
You can create unique outfits for the character’s everyday appearance and their Dark Form appearance (or make both forms look the same).
Players will also notice 151 new furniture and decorations in Build Mode:
Sims 4 Vampires GamePlay
Your Sims vampire must grow from minor vampire to prime vampire to grand master vampire by earning vampire points.
The character will have the option to show or hide their Dark Form under the Vampire menu while in Live Mode.
While in Dark Form, the character will have the ability to access their vampire powers to their full extent (once learned). However, Dark Form also informs normal Sims of a character’s vampire status, leading to fear and isolation.
When you turn your Sim into a vampire, they must avoid sunlight and foods with garlic.
Finally, vampires have an additional status bar that they must maintain using mortal blood or Plasmafruit. New vampires will need to feel off of Sims before they have the ability to sustain themselves through Plasmafruit.
When a vampire Sim feeds off of another Sim, the vampire Sim can turn the victim into a vampire – or not. You have the choice to show mercy or not.
Vampire Aspirations
Vampires can choose from three new aspirations: Vampire Family, Head Vampire, and Good Vampire. Like in typical Sims 4 games, a character’s aspiration drives their choices throughout the game. Vampire traits will assist a character on their path, so be sure to pick the best vampire traits for your adventure.
Vampire Family challenges vampire SIms to create a vampire family. A Sim vampire can create families with both mortals and vampires. If a vampire mates with a mortal, the vampire offspring will have a 50% chance of receiving the vampire gene or not. The vampire offspring will either be a vampire or mortal – there is no in between.
The Head Vampire aspiration challenges Sims to harness as much of their vampire powers as possible to become a true monster. Characters with this ambition should prioritize developing vampire skills and completing vampire accomplishments instead of creating a family.
The Good Vampire aspiration shows other Sims that vampires don’t have to be deadly. While more difficult at first, characters who follow this aspiration will have a better time navigating through life with other Sims.
Hint: If you ever decide that you want to reset vampire powers, you can drink the Draught of Reconfiguration after you earn level 14 vampire lore skill.
Benefits of Turning a Sim into a Vampire
There are numerous benefits to turning a SIm into a vampire outside of the cool outfits and additional gameplay options.
Some of the pros of being a Sims 4 vampire include:
A Sims vampire does not age
A Sims vampire does not die
No bladder requirement
To become a vampire, enter the following cheat in the command line:
stats.set_stat commodity_becomingvampire
Of course, the true fun occurs when you gain supernatural control with new powers available in the Sims 4 Vampires, such as mind control powers and command powers.
Use Vampire Power Points to Earn Vampire Powers (Vampire Lore Skill)
There are 25 different vampire powers available to vampire characters. Reach the next vampire rank by earning vampire power points to access new vampire powers. You earn power points by completing Sims 4 vampire accomplishments.
We cover the skills you can learn in different vampire ranks (find the corresponding cheats below to learn skills immediately).
You will need to become a blood-sucker before you can learn vampire skills by entering the following code:
Vampires also have the ability to learn two new skills: pipe organ skill and vampire lore skill.
Characters can develop the vampire lore skill to level 15 instead of maxing out at level 10 like most skills, making it a particularly valuable skill to learn.
Vampire Weaknesses
While vampire Sims have a lot of benefits, those benefits come with weaknesses.
Without a cheat code, players will need to choose among the following vampire weaknesses as their characters develops their vampire powers:
Withered Stomach
Guilty Drinker
Uncontrollable Hissing
Sloppy Drinker
Thin Skinned
Sleep of the Undead
Fitful Sleep
Insatiable Thirst
Day Phobia
Eternal Sadness
Undead Aura
Forgotten Hollow
The Sims 4 Vampires pack includes a new neighborhood that acts as a sanctuary for blood-thirsty Sims called Forgotten Hollow where characters can also find unique items.

The Sims 4 Vampires Cheats
Activate Cheats
In order to use the Sims 4 Vampire cheats, you will need to first activate cheats in the game.
Step One: Select (SHIFT + CTRL + C) to bring up the command line (also known as the cheat console).
Step Two: Type “testingcheats true” into the command line to enable cheats. The words “cheats activated” should appear in the dialogue box underneath the command line if you properly enabled the vampire cheats.
Sims 4 Vampire Cheats
The Sims 4 vampire cheats allow players to learn skills and turn into a vampire instantly. While players have cheats available to them, they can also choose to play the game without the cheats if they want to emphasize the buildup of a vampire Sim instead of unlocking everything right away.
Copy and paste all cheats exactly as they appear in the list. If a cheat doesn’t work, ensure that your cheats are enabled before trying again.
When you enter the cheat code for a vampire power, the cheat code requires you to enter the SIM’s id. This number ensures that your character receives the benefit of the cheat code instead of a different character.
You can access your sim’s id by entering the following cheat code into the command line while the cheats are activated:
sims.get_sim_id_by_name FirstName LastName
When you enter the code, the Sims ID will appear in the dialogue box.
(The first time I tried, I put the name in parentheses, which wouldn’t allow the game to find my sim – enter the code without parentheses.)
The power board will show you which powers your vampire possesses so you know which ones you still need:
Note: Some powers conflict with other powers. You won’t be able to unlock both powers, so you’ll need to choose. For example, as I was unlocking cheat codes, I found that Sun Resistance conflicts with Thick Skinned, so I couldn’t unlock that power since I has already unlocked the Thick Skinned power.
Now that you have all of the cheats available to you in the vampires game pack, you can experience a whole new world of opportunities filled with master vampires. Just stay away from the sunlight!
