Some new SSX gameplay

New gameplay from the return to SSX is in; this first video is a gameplay trailer from EA’s E3 press conference earlier in the week, and shows SSX character Kaori performing some of those impossible trademark tricks.

Up next, a brief gameplay demo that shows off the game’s slope deformation that results from big air combos. While it looks pretty neat and the game is pre-alpha after all, it might decelerate the downhill momentum too much for my taste.

Oh, and an annoying and somewhat creepy helicopter pilot showers Mac with compliments and useless observations throughout the run. No word yet on whether you can turn his radio off or not.

All in all though, I’m glad to see that SSX is returning after its many seasons off.
