Sons of Anarchy game could be developed soon
Gaming fans of the hit FX drama Sons of Anarchy could be in for special treat in the near future.
According to his Twitter, Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter will soon be “taking meetings about an SOA game.” Sutter says he has a “major gaming company interested,” and that they’re trying to figure out “costs, platform, and timing.”
A follow-up tweet reads “to do a quality platform-based game costs tens of millions and takes years. we’re toying with the idea of a high-end browser-based game,” suggesting that a SoA game would not be coming to home consoles.
Responding to the massive response to these unspecific hints, Sutter later tweeted “a very vague tweet becomes an entire story. i loves ya interweb, you remind me of that crazy ex-girlfriend who used to eat her own vomit,” which, for my money, is one of the most accurate descriptions of the internet to come along in a while.
Other details about the potential title are nil, so this is one to keep on the backburner for a while. In the meantime, I would suggest playing GTA: The Lost and Damned to those who’d like to get their motorcycle gang gaming fix right away.
