Split-screen a no go for Battlefield 3 co-op, six maps on disc
Bad news for fans of split-screen co-op; DICE has revealed that the two player mode for Battlefield 3 shown at Gamescom yesterday will not support local play.
You’ll simply have to head online instead, DICE’s VP and GM Karl-Magnus Troedsson told GamingLives (via). It was also revealed that a total of six co-op maps will be on the disc when Battlefield 3 ships. Each should take around 20 – 45 minutes to beat.
Battlefield 3 will be out on PS3, 360 and PC on October 28.
