Telltale bringing us Back to the Future/Jurassic Park episodic games

Time travel, hoverboards, and crazy scientists, could a Back to the Future game perhaps be the greatest game of all time? Or perhaps dinosaurs, off-road vehicles, and tense scenes with cups of water will make Jurassic Park game of the year? Probably not, but Telltale Games is still going to take a crack at it with newly announced episodic series based on the franchises. The team got the rights to both in a new deal with NBC Universal.

The developer will bring their game series to PS3, 360, Wii, PC, and Mac in the Winter. Hopefully they’ll use 1.21 jiggawatts to make the games as good as they can possibly be.

Dan Connors, CEO at Telltale, offered a few drips of info on both projects, saying: “The games are going to exist within these worlds. I wouldn’t call these games sequels per se but a new interpretation of their worlds for a new medium. For one generation, it’s an introduction to these series. For another generation, it’s a thing they can look back on and something they can share warmly with their family and friends.”
