Tickets for BlizzCon go on sale May 21 and May 25

If you want to get caught up in the Blizzard, you’ll get your chance when tickets to BlizzCon 2011 go on sale on May 21 and May 25. The annual event in Anaheim, CA hosted by Blizzard Entertainment shows off the company’s latest offerings as well as hot titles on the horizon. You can read what’s on hand here, so how about some pricing  for you: tickets will be $175 a pop from www.blizzcon.com, starting at 10 am on Saturday, May 21 until they sell out, then once again at 7pm on Wednesday, May 25 (both Pacific time). A helpful hint? They’ll sell out quickly, so make sure you adhere to the times (PACIFIC time, to be specific) and dates.

If you’re feeling philanthropic (and hungry), tickets to the BlizzCon Benefit Dinner with benefits going to the Children’s Hospital of Orange County will be on sale starting Saturday, May 28 at 10am Pacific time for $500 a head. The dinner will be held on Thursday, October 20 and will feature admission to BlizzCon, as well as the opportunity to chat with Blizzard developers about their favorite quests, things you’d like to see implemented, or just to flex your nerdy might before the show begins. There will be 200 tickets available for the dinner, so, I cannot stress this enough, don’t wait.

For everyone who can’t make it to So Cal, Blizzard is offering a $39.90 BlizzCon Virtual Ticket that will grant you access to live HD coverage from the show floor every day of the convention, exclusive interviews, demos and more. The Virtual Ticket is available online or through your DirecTV service. DirecTV users will get the internet pass included with their purchase at no extra charge. All Virtual Ticket buyers will receive special World of Warcraft and Starcraft II in-game items care of BlizzCon.
