Ubisoft hiring for an “unannounced IP”

Ubisoft Montreal has announced that they are hiring for an “unannounced IP”. A tweet posted last week reads: “We’re hiring!! #Ubisoft #Montreal is looking to hire an Animation Director for an unannounced IP.”

The question of course is, what ever could the IP be? The wording of the announcement does make it clear the position is available on the Montreal team, not that they’re not already busy enough. That studio is currently working on Assassin’s Creed III, Rainbow Six Patriots and Far Cry 3. We’d call that a full plate.

The possibility of this new title being developed for next-gen consoles is also feasible, though that’s speculation at best.
