A $300 Dirt 3 bundle sighted, includes RC car
Special editions, limited editions and collector’s editions all have their place, no question about it. Some franchises are big enough to have armies behind it, willing to spend as much money as it’ll take to have the latest, the coolest, the baddest and probably the most unnecessary crap ever as long as it’s remotely connected to the game they love. The question now is, is Codemasters’ Dirt 3 one of those?
Giant games retailer GameStop has listed a $300 (USD) Dirt 3 Car Bundle which includes a Ken Block Gymkhana RC rally car alongside the $60 game, which would price the RC car itself at $240, which further raises the question, is it worth it?
According to GameStop, the car is “fully assembled, Ready-To-Race®, with TQ 2.4GHz High Output radio system with Traxxas Link, Velineon® 380 motor, VXL-3m ESC, 7.2 volt NiMH battery & charger, and ProGraphix® painted body,” which would probably mean a lot to any hobbyist interested in RC cars, but it’s all jibber-jabber to us until we get the lowdown on what it all actually implies.
Still, driving around a Ken Block look-a-like mini-car, we’d be cool with that.
